At the ANS Winter Conference yesterday in Orlando, FL, John Grieves, the NRC's Deputy Director - Division of Advanced Reactors and Non-Power Production Facilities, announced they were approving the Kairos Hermes 2 Construction Permit. Interesting to see the letter drop the following day. Note, this is not the operating license, only the Construction Permit.

Liberty Energy is an oilfield services company headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Wright also serves on the board of nuclear power startup Oklo.
Wright has denied that climate change represents a global crisis.
